Hmmm, I’m not sure that I care to be a mascot….. Maybe you’d care to wear the funny costume, Grace? |
@ruby3881 Remember the Olympics mascot the polar bear Misha? This mascot became the rage the world over and was commercially exploited. So choose a similar one for yourself.

@bestwriter If I can only read it I am sure he or she will realize the impact of it. I will just take note of this. Then, I will react to his or her post. |

Actually I am fine with the comment. Firstly, I think LB team is really respectful and kind as they even published posts that do not talk only good things about them, which I think they are doing something good. As LB is a blogging site, I think it should allow members to express their opinions freely, as long as they do not against the rules. I think the team is really humble and willing accept the feedback from us. I do think good employers should be like that too. They should listen to different kinds of feedback or even criticism, of course they do not need to follow everything the employees said, but they should analyze and think if they should make a change. I think it’s not a world that employer is “boss” now, where the employees should only listen, but not say anything.
If I were a employer, I would like my staff to tell me something that I can improve too, but preferably they tell me frankly and nicely. 😀 |
@suny I agree with you! There is no point in mud slinging when we can use our time in far more constructive ways. |
@ Lee Ka Constructive criticism always leads to improvement and is well-intended. Even LB staff appreciates constructive feedback. |

To be fair, it is quick to earn here, because there is upfront payment. However, the lack of passive income (eg income for page views on our blogs) means that we have to work hard to write to earn $10 or $20 a month. The minute we stop writing, and participating, the income stops. It is different from those sites that do not have upfront payment, and only have passive income. In that kind of sites, we have to work very hard for a few months, and when the articles get views, we can reap our reward with no writing or lesser effort. |

@shaloo walia Personally I don’t mind any comments from a registered member because even I write negative comments about other sites about matters that I do not like. It is the job of moderators and admin to see what they want to keep or what they want to delete. Incidentally, I deleted 12 comments on one site that I myself moderate. But those were not criticism but spam posts. |
@Lee Ka Constructive criticism is the backbone of any set up which is what we all should be doing. |
@shaloo walia I too am fully in favour of constructive criticism. Constructive criticism is needed and that is why there is a thing called ‘feedback’ And that is where constructive criticism is normally seen. i have done that many times and I have seen results with that. |
@Lee ka And that criticism should be sent as feedback and not as a comment on a blog that the world sees. |
@suny Criticism has a place and that is normally sent as feedback. |
@scheng1 But I thought each time a blog is viewed one earns. @suny is the best one here to comment on it. |
@ scheng1 I am on the site for three months now and have managed to reach minimum redemption every month. Sharing our posts on social media sites bring us passive income but yes, it is less but I don’t mind it because we are getting paid upfront for our posts. |
