Hey guys don’t you think LiteracyBase is indulging in unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people, especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex. I am concerned here on one particular issue @support you did not see a single male person to fit in Popular members’ box. I am feeling too ashamed and you say this is men’s world 🙁

@sunil – This is not the case, It is an auto generated box that calculates in their predefined algorithm. However I can see Shikavat in this box. But this is not intended or altered by Literacybase. Its an auto calculated output.

Thanks – Support

@support haha I caught  you for sure. Anyways thanks a lot for letting us know that it was auto generated but I am sure @Shavkat will not take your comment lightly. Just wait and watch by the time they read your comment 🙂 I am sure you are in for lots of trouble because I always thought she was a lady.

@suny Well, I guess it wasn’t for men’s world after all. I don’t see any discrimination here. It wouldn’t be nice if it does exist in LB. If ever, then I would be against to it. I strongly believe in gender equality.

@support My profile picture is upfront in the box. I felt overwhelmed by its automated function of the site. I think I am proud to be in this position. A thorn among the roses.

@Shavkat I am shocked, I always thought the site owners and @support were as confused as I was despite knowing you for years. Remember suny in mylot? I always treated you like one from the opposite … you know what I mean 🙂 Sorry mate but you have kept the men’s flag fly high. Keep it up…

I got a shock when I read the title of this thread, as I never thought LB is discriminating. It has always been a very nice place. Glad that support replied you so quickly, so the “bad news” will not be spread. (It sounds like the support is watching the forum and us very closely which is good, so he can always respond to us as quick as possible.)

Yes, I can see @Shavkat picture with other pretty ladies there. Actually I seldom check the boxes on the Home page, perhaps I should check them out that more often.

@support Since you mentioned these are auto generated, I assume the Active Members section is also auto generated too. I still see my name being displayed in the Active Members section though I have not been active for really long time. I see bestwriter and some other members are very active on the site lately, but I did not see their names there. I just wonder if the algorithm still works nicely.

@suny I had known you so well on the other site. Don’t be worried. I don’t mind. I guess I need to change my profile picture.lol In mylot, I don’t exposed myself much on personal photos. However, I used a cartoonized picture lately.

@kaka135 Actually, I also don’t mind seeing my photo in the box. Not until, I had read the comment of our dear friends here. My face is colored in red right now. I felt in the center of the field and watched by the expectators.lol

You know @Lee Ka my weird sense of humor has put me in serious trouble at times and you are another one hooked in the net. I am thankful to @support though that he knew what I meant. Here I share a secret with you at this point that my sense of humor was the main reason that all fun loving people attacked my discussions at MyLot instantly and that was the secret of my success.

How did I miss this Post  😀  Actually what you see there is outdated and needs to be updated.  @support could tell us why it is not updated.

@ suny  The title of the topic was intriguing enough to catch my attention. And I couldn’t stop laughing on reading the thread. What an observation! And the best part is that it brought @support on the front from its hibernation. I was wondering where the support had been lost all these weeks.

oh gosh, really? no men in the popular box?

I guess it is the number of participation of each writer should be considered, not the race or sex gender

since support had answered, i think it is fair and square

@support @shallo walia @Lee Ka @peachpurple @suny

I am sure suny did it on a lighter note as those statistics have not been changed ever since the site was launched  😀

August 6, 2016 at 12:39 pm

@bestwriter  yes I did,  as I am very much sure that you are the same writer whom I have interacted on different sites esp on MyLot where you posted about your house having (40 glass windows or was that 30) your dogs guarding your gate from unwanted guests and intruders and you used to be a moderator on a site that did not last long then you know me very well for my suny the funny image.

I had nothing bad in my mind about my non existence in that particular box but I just wanted to start something humorous. I know not everyone loves interacting in funny posts but I invariably find few to give me a company (Please, do not mind if you’re not the one I have in my mind)

I had always figured that “popular” came from something like the number of friends a user has, plus maybe the amount of interactions that involve that person. I’m sure the algorithm factors in other things but it’s possible, with the right combination, for it to appear pretty stagnant.

@suny Don’t worry. You are free to keep whoever you think saw this post as humorous,  to keep them in your list.
