@peachpurple, I am still so far fro redemption.Maybe it takes me 2 months to reach $10. I am not always visiting here.

@peachpurple, thank you for reminding of my duplicate post. I have not yet informed the @admin, @support about that. I have to so that it wouldn’t be cluttered in my dashboard. I know that the moderators here are reading our posts, comments before putting them to “live” status.

That is a big issue if you want to post time-sensitive news.

Right now Brexit is a big news, and if the post is available after 2 days, you will miss out on a lot of views.

I think sooner or later Literacybase will have to revise this post moderation rule.

Actually there is no harm to let us publish first, and they can review at their leisure.  As long as they can catch plagiarism, they can still remove the post a day or two later.

I think the idea of 24 “working hours” is too ambiguous to have any meaning. There are no business hours posted for the site, so there is no way to know whether there are staffers overseeing the approval of posts 8 hours a day or 24 – or whether they just peek in on the site for a few hours here and there, whenever their other commitments afford them the time.

At this point, I have reason to doubt that posts are being properly monitored before publication. There are too many posts on the site that show evidence of copyright infringement (photos) or improper image credits (crediting a site, rather than the artist who created the image.) There are also posts that are duplicates of content published on other sites, which is apparently still an issue with Google and can result in both sites being penalized. If human monitoring of our posts enters into the approval process, it’s probably pretty hurried.

@peachpurple, I have already PM the @admin and the @support to delete my duplicate post for I don’t the right or the authority to do it. Probably with this comment, it has already been removed. I would check it to find it out.

@cessy08  I think you are right! Instead of notifications, we are getting ‘array’. Some technical glitch may be!

@nakitakona13

You are fortunate. For me – those 3 Array problem is still there. Anyways, I am not bothered.

Regarding 24 hours confusion, Well – the website was undergoing some maintenance. This is the only website I have seen which allows people to login and interact during maintenance. Other websites simply change their interface disabling login.

Due to this facility, many people dont know that presently, website is undergoing maintenance.

I agree with your points. It is a good thing that the doors are not shut completely. It is only partially shut down.

@sceng1, so as not to have problem as to the timeline of your news item reaction, I suggest you write it in the form of news analysis by way of a comment,but not of news sharing for it would be not nice to read a news which is not current or it has already transpired several days or weeks. We even call it a history. What do you think?

@thinker, thanks for your reaction. You are right in your observation that although LiteracyBase is undergoing system maintenance it doesn’t go offline instead it partly suspends its function like the notifications and the like. I would like to share my experience to some online writing sites which I have joined. They temporarily suspended their operation and went back for several days after they’re done.
