Gram flour for beauty treatment.

Gram flour – besan as it is called,-  in the normal course,  is  only connected with making several food items for which there is no limit. We use it as a coating when we make batata wada and you must have heard of pakoras where different items such as capsicum, potato,onion and such other vegetables are dipped in gram flour paste to which salt and chilli powder is added,  and deep fried. 

What about ghatias the favourite of many. Put the gram flour paste in a press sieve and press down ghatias of any size you fancy. Some even replace coconut with gram flour for making curries specially adding curds.. I have also heard gram flour is one of the ingredients for making dosas with multi grain batter. 

You know why gram dal is added while making a batter of masala dosa? It is gives the dosas the crispness which is its main quality 

Who as not heard of moti chur ladoos. The moti chur is made from gram flour. 

That Bhel Puri or sev puri  one eats on Beaches cannot be made without the gram flour paste that is used for making sev.
