You must have come across drawings, writings and even poetry illicitly-drawn, engraved or written in public places. This is known as graffiti. As you may gaze and wonder what all these scrawling means, here is a post that gives insight into the mind of the person involved in this. We want to get deep into the mind of the person who does the graffiti.
Whereas insight describes the capacity to gain an accurate and deep intuitive understanding of a person or thing,” graffiti are writing or drawing that have been scribbled, scratched or painted illicitly on a wall or other surface, often within public view.” These descriptions by Wikipedia sum it all up.\
Here we get into the mind of a graffiti artist who is confused. He does what he does because of the confusion in his mind.
This happens to be the mind of the person who draws lines that clash. His writings are marred and one cannot easily decipher what the person wanted to express. When we try to find insight into the person’s mind, we find them to be confused. He does not know what to do and ends up pouring his jumbled thoughts and emotions into his graffiti. The insight we get here is that confusion can draw a person to graffiti.
A person who goes to the toilet and draws silly graffiti may just be idle and looking for something to do. He amuses himself writing silly things or drawing provocative images that make you wonder what he was thinking. He is just idle. Since an idle mind is the devil’s workshop, he ends up dirty. You must have met much of this type of graffiti in the public places you visit.
Some kinds of graffiti are most common in places like public toilets. The minds of these graffiti artists are so dirty that most of what they think is pornographic. Since their minds are dirty, they end up writing and drawing obscene graffiti.
Political graffiti happens to be common too. Political fanatics tend to outdo each other with the slogans and symbols of their political party affiliation. You find such graffiti gazing at you everywhere. That is a political mind.
Some graffiti artists really are true artists, looking for an additional canvas where they can express their creativity. The artists put their graffiti in all the public areas they frequent. – perhaps they are looking for a unique placement for their art.
Graffiti exists even in prisons too. The prisoners wanted to inform us something about their imprisonment. In a Tale of Two Cities, the prisoner’s number was engraved in the cell where he was detained.

Wow that is some great insight on grafitti I have never thought about it like you have put it down. I have always thought it is done as a painting though some ask done in the wrong places like in buses on Thu back of th3 seats. At least I ha e learned something different from what I have always though. So we can say that when th3 mind is idle it draws you to grafitti interesting indeed. And it is very true that what comes out of their minds is ponographic material I have seen this several times in different places especially in hetto areas where most of the youth are engrossed in drugs.
