Whenever I read something about Goa it takes me back to the time when I used to spend all my weekends in that lovely land of beautiful beaches and friendly people. I wanted to use few other words about the lively residents of Goa the heaven for tourists but then I stopped short thinking that I should not cross the limits while describing their friendliness.
It was just after completion of my training period I was posted at Belgaum city of Karnataka state. I was bit reluctant in the beginning as I did not want to leave Bengaluru also known as Bangalore then but my manager said the company wanted me to cover Goa also along with Belgaum division. I was to join another engineer at Belgaum whom I did not know until then.
I liked the guy I met in Belgaum a boy almost my age or maybe a 1or 2 years elder than me from the last batch of trainees the boy belonged to Bangalore from the famous Khan family a distant relative of famous film actors Feroz and Sanjay Khan. He was smart looking chap handsome and tall like the other Khans from Bangalore.
He was staying in a local hotel on monthly rent basis and also suggested me to stay there as the railway and bus stand were nearby and food he said was reasonable. I did just that but the real story began on Friday noon during the lunch hour when he asked me if I was interested to go to Goa for a weekend. I liked the idea as Panjim the capital of Goa was only a little over 110 km.
There was no direct bus from Belgaum to Panjim so we took a bus for Londa at about 4 pm and changed one for Panjim from there. By 7 we were in Panjim where we stayed overnight and the first thing we did next morning was to leave for Calngute beach. We stayed there for 2 nights until Monday morning that became my schedule for rest of my 2 years’ stay in Belgaum. I visited Goa the wonderful state at least 60-70 times during my posting in Belgaum.

I cannot agree to you more than this. Goa is the best place that I have visited till date. Though it has been more than 4 years now followed by many more vacations to other places Goa stays in my mind as fresh as ever.
I'm longing to revisit it again. I loved everything about it.From night life to culture, loud music and dance, beach and fresh air I love it all.
You have posted a natural and perfect pic...I love to see it again and again.
