I love putting eyeliner. I think it adds a certain oomph to the overall look especially since I am not a fan of applying thick makeup when I go out. To me, a very minimal makeup is better for an everyday, “natural” look. And for somebody like me who doesn’t want to bother with all the contouring that is an on-going trend in the makeup scene these days, adding an eyeliner is the way to go.
Back in the day when I was struggling to apply eyeliner, I prefer to have more variants of eye shadow so I can mix-and-match the color of my eye makeup wit my clothes. But now that I sort of “mastered” or at least, able to apply eyeliner decently on my eyelids, I love having more eyeliner colors instead. This way, I only need to have the basic neutral color of eye shadows and only be a bit playful with the eyeliner to change my look a bit.
I have only one eyeliner pencil and mostly have gel eyeliners. I used to only have gel eyeliners in small pots but now, I also buy Korean gel eyeliner pencils. I don’t know why but I prefer the look of gel eyeliners not to mention I find it longer lasting than the pencil counterparts. I never carry a retouch kit with me when I go out so it is safe to say that my makeup needs to last the entire day without retouching.
I wanted to try using other eyeliner colors apart from the traditional black or brown. Way before, I wanted to have other eyeliner colors but realized that it is not too common with “pharmacy brands” such as Maybelline. I resorted to Bobbi Brown (my top-pick for makeup products) but then, the price tag for each gel eyeliner pot is just too much for me. I then discovered Korean makeup brands and love they have cheap-ish gel eyeliner pencils in various colors to boot!
When I was starting to buy Korean makeup products, the Liole Glittering Eyeliner in Glam Bronze (No. 7) was one of the first products I bought from Jolse. I thought that since summer was approaching, I can play around with my makeup colors and add something a bit more shimmery to my eyes.
It is the first time for me to buy Liole products. But because it was reasonably priced ($4.72 for a 1.2g pencil), I gave it a try. I applied a dark brown eyeshadow to my eyes and decided to pair this bronze eyeliner to add a bit of glitz. Since it is a pencil, it was very easy to apply on my eyelids without the hassle gel eyeliner pots sometimes has. It glides smoothly on my eyelids and very pigmented. I actually have to be really careful applying so to avoid putting too much of the product.
It is a shimmer eyeliner but noticed that the “glitters” are smaller than the Holika Holika gel eyeliner pencil I bought from Jolse. Apart from that, I also noticed that this one actually dries and sets in my eyes, too. So even if I “accidentally” scratched my eyes, there’s not much of it that gets in my fingers as a result.
Overall, I am really happy with Liole Glittering Eyeliner and love the pop of color the bronze variant gives the “traditional” brown eyeshadow brings.

tried it and like it, my favorite is hashimi kajal but this one is good too
i like the simple kajal and that is soft on the eyes and when its few hours after you put it, it goes in between lashes to make it kinda nicer looking
