I have few blogs to which I wish to get some traffic. But the issue is that there are not many sites where the people of similar interest hang out. And that makes it harder for me to be active. So I decided to join quora to solve this problem. I found out that quora has some nice set of questions. And answering the questions with answers of my website link can drive some traffic. I have managed to get a lot of such traffic. However the traffic generation part is not easy. You have to work a lot harder than regular link dropping. And focus on value of your answers. This way you can get some good conversion. Here are some tips that you can follow.
Follow the Rules
This is very imporatnt thing. Don’t use affiliate links inside the quora answers. Instead just link to your website. And that way you can be in terms. Avoid linking in every answer. Because that would not be good for your profile.
Story Telling
Most of the quora users are desperate for some cooked up story. They often create cooked up story to answer. But here you have to be genuine and answer the question. That way you can be much more effective with the link dropping. Also your answer should appear genuine. Most likely that would give you some advantage. As there are some of the good options for the answering you should definitely take a look at the other answers and tweak your content.
Share videos
Often the video sharing can do your job much more effectively. Do understand the fact that there are times when sharing your own video can also help. From there people can go to other sites. And they can land on your page too. Also make sure to share the link to your twitter if you have. Because having a video is must for every website these days. You should consider creating explainer video and see if that gets you traffic. Don’t share the video on every answer. Instead share it on the relevant questions. And this way surely it may help you get some conversion.
So far these are the options have worked for me to get some traffic. You may have to try this one if you are serious to get traffic from that site.

I think you can share the post from your blog to Quora. But sharing link in each post may not be a good idea.
