As I am going through the forums of this site, I noticed that there is a point numbers below their profile picture. I have 0 points. Others have 100+ points. What is that for?

@Anjee  these points are indication of a post was voted up. You can see your own profile with one such point now.

Yes suny is right. That points will be up when someone will vote up your post. So if others are having 100+ that means their post get voted up that many times. Don’t worry more you will be active on forum you will get them for your good posts. Keep posting.

Me too. maybe they removed it already since the points have nothing to do with our earnings.

I am not sure about the point system. All I can say, it is gone as of this moment. I assume that it is the basis where we can move to the next level with the status of being a newbie. I hope it would be cleared by the admin. It is was not also indicated in the guidelines.

@Shavkat, do you have idea if there is incentive for points meaning are we paid on that? What benefits can we get out of the points from voting?Do you have idea about this friend?

@ bestwriter ..There were points below the user name. It was showing that how many vote up user got on this forum for post. But after that it got removed later on for some reason. Only admin can tell more about it..

@lovern I am sorry my dear friend. It is not stated in LB rules. It didn’t also indicated in ad in every blog’s posted. All I know, the points make us popular in this site.

I just noticed the voting system has been removed when I wanted to vote up a post. I wonder if the voting system is totally removed, or there will be something new in future. I remember previously support mentioned, the points help to determine our rank, and some forum functionalities might open for different ranks (such as edit). But now, when the voting system is not here, I am not sure how our rank is determined.

I copied one of the responses support replied to the voting system in this thread.

Ranking and voting system is one of the factor that will help you in getting promoted to the next level as the current level being “Newbie”. Once you are promoted, you have more options to earn and additional capabilities.

@lovern I do not think there is any incentive related to the points given. It’s to determine our rank as I mentioned earlier, but now I think we need @support to clarify this, as the voting system is gone now.
