Here is one of my most favorite eCommerce sites of India, and guys I love their new advertisement which is otherwise killing the joy of watching I.P.L Cricket matches.
I don’t think any of us need to introduce Flipkart the e-commerce portal that was a brainchild of Two IIT guys from Delhi and their success story as business leaders which was hold by Amazon so far. So when companies like Snapdeal, Infibeam, Homeshop18 and Flipcart hit the Indian market they immediately became popular with Indian consumer.
Flipcart was founded in 2007 by Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal starting with books in the beginning the same way as others like Amazon which is multi-billion company today. As far Flipcart is concerned this company is registered in Singapore, but has its headquarters in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
However, the company is going all out with advertising campaign with its tagline “Anything can fail but Flipcart won’t fail you with its return and refund policy”. I am a regular customer of this site for last couple of years and bought hundreds of products mainly in books and electronic section and wish if my children were living in India I could have used this site even more.
The only drawback I see is that this site has no option to send products globally otherwise I would have used it more frequently. Besides the site doesn’t yet cover all the cities of India in all categories but one thing is for sure that their courier partner is one of the best when it comes to deliver the products. I am mostly using Flipcart as my numero uno shopping site besides Snapdeal and Infibeam.
I have no hesitation in saying that I have reduced the use of Amazon. in considerably and I was never a fan of eBay India. Therefore, Flipcart eCommerce site for shopping is my favorite site for most of my necessary items on competitive prices.

I do have Flipkart in my list of online shopping sites. But I do more with amazon.
@grace amazon does not ship most items which I wish to buy
@suny They have a huge line and wonder what it is that you want to buy that they do not have.
They have a huge range of products but they do not cover all PIN for all products. In some cases even Flipkart and Snapdeal do not have them covered but probably ebay and another one India 18 have the best coverage and to some extent infibeam.
If you are on Mykites you could go through them. There are cashbacks in case you did not know.
And as for getting what we want I suppose that applies to all online shopping sites.
As compared to offline buying we definitely have a wider choice going online.
Cashback! the cyber-world is full of apps offering cashback but their terms and conditions are so complicated I often deny them besides I earn lot of money through Amazon and Flipkart gift cards (from survey sites close to 6-7k per month) that does not qualify for any cashback schemes.
Flipkart is a great site. I use it mainly for buying books as it offers great discounts.
@suny Where there are gift and discount schemes then cashback will not apply. I must learn to earn the way you do.
I wish I could tell you all about those sites but I don't think this is the right place to mention all those sites here. I will give you a PM if you don't mind.
