The child sees its older siblings going to school with their books and waits eagerly for its turn. There is a lot of talk about it. It will discuss the issue with its friends, neighbors, older siblings and the parents. There will be a slate and pencil provided to already get the feel of the school which the child readily accepts and is proud to scribble on it whatever it may be. It will run around the house showing its work to everyone expecting a pat on the back. This will go on for a few days while the child waits for the big day and the big day finally arrives. Having got up early the child would wake up its mother and pester her to get ready, running helter skelter collecting the clothes, the shoes all kept ready the previous day.
Being the last one in the family the mother knows what it would mean. The house would be dead silent without the child’s patter. She will suppress her tears and pretend to share in the joys of the child.
At the school, the parlor maid leads them to the head mistress and one look at this stranger the child will cling to the mother frightened and refuse to take another step. All the joy that was, has vanished. The mother has now to leave, about which the child was not aware and when this happens there is a scene, a scene of the child running after the mother tears rolling down the cheeks of both mother and child.
The child sets its foot in the classroom a strange world to be in. So many children with so many names. The child is quite fascinated hearing those names. Suddenly the child dislikes its own name and when the mother comes by to take it home the first thing the child says is that it wants its name changed.
And that child that is discussed here is me!!

First day at school, every kid had his jitter which became a wonderful memory, be it good or bad.
When I was 5 years old, I was crying for mommy when I sat on the tiny chair, looking here and there for my mom.
It was a memorable one . When my son went to school on the first day, he too cried for mommy.
First day at school, all little ones are afraid when they do not see their mom around.
Maybe in the near future, kids would be braver, having their mommy face in a little gadget where they can see anytime they want to
Good or bad - a great memory indeed. I would come home every day and say I never cried today while other kids have been screaming their guts out (lol)
My brother told me earlier that his son, my nephew, at first was excited going to school but when my niece left him, his oldest sister age eight, he doesn't want to go to school anymore without his other siblings. Maybe because the little kid was afraid of being outcast, alone, without any one to turn too from the children he never know and play with.
first day at school becomes very charm full and because new teachers and friends are found there it schools and colleges or in universities, I think the day becomes memorable for all the new comers.
Yes i like school very much but now sadly i don't go to school because i'm memorizing a very big book and in other language which i can't understand. Sounds strange but it's a very big thing and everybody who is memorizing also study with it but me i didn't. My parents forced me very much but i always argue with them. I'm very sad that i did it. It's been 2 years without school! But now, i'm trying to work hard and one thing also that the book i was memorizing and currently memorizing it...i was also very slow in it so i will say that i literally wasted 2 years. When i'll finish my mission which will take a year or a little bit more i'll be studying until i finish and then i'll totally work hard to cover all the things. When i was in my school i was not understandable.
I didn't like school that time because i don't know that education is very important. So...maybe the thing i wanna tell you is nonsense or very big without any meaning but i want to share this with all of you. At last, i want to say that this website is helping me a lot. I love it very much!
