I am so touched by the message I have received sent by my daughter last night which reads, “Happy Father’s Day Papa… Whatever I am today is because of you, your efforts, sacrifices and faith in me.” I am overawed in fact, speechless and so impressed so much that I am silent or have no words to react.
Let me quote here that according to Indian mythology Lord Ganesha the Son of Lord Shiva made couple of rounds around his parents saying that his parents were greater than the entire universe and won the competition held in between other gods that had the target to complete a journey around the whole universe. The winner was to be decided based on the first one returned after completing the race. So lord Ganesha was declared winner.
As they say a girl is always the apple of her father’s eyes especially if she is the only child of her parents because there is no one else to share the love of parents. You know people always said we should have a boy because in their views a boy is future of a family but I never gave them any importance and I am glad I did not. That way I could concentrate on my only child and today she is one among the top software personalities of the world by managing software section of one of the most popular broadcasting corporations in global scenario.
To be frank, I do not believe in show business but when it comes to relations and their importance I love it when people talk about them. They show their affection, speak words, show their gratitude and acknowledge what they feel. I would not have shared this with you but as I said I was unable to hide my sentiments.
