Every Thing Happens For A Reason

My motto for my life is that there is a reason why things happen. In life we may want or hope for something and we usually expect it to turn out a certain way. Some times what we are hoping for or wanting doesn’t always turn out the way we want, or what we want may come later. There is a reason why things don’ come out how we expect them to come out.

I truly believe that God is making sure that we are making the BEST decisions possible and that it is to be in His time. I know this theory may sound silly to you but I believe this. There was a time in my life when I doubted my faith. I questioned often why are ”bad” things happening to me.

It took me a while to realize that these weren’t ”bad” things that were happening to me, I just wasn’t waiting long enough to find the good!! Once I accepted that these things weren’t ”bad” and that better things were coming, I learned that I was going through the bad to appreciate the ”good.” That there was a reason that I went through every thing that I did because I got things that I hadn’t even expected!! It was worth the wait to get something better than what I ever imagined.

So, if you’re experiencing something in your life right now, and it doesn’t turn out the way that you want it, just wait…you’ll find out the reason things are happening the way that they are. Even if something ”bad” happens, God has something better planned for you. It may be to strengthen you, maybe even to turn you to your faith or to realize how fortunate that you are, whatever the reason….”Every thing happens for a reason.” You won’t at the time understand but in the long run you’ll find out that God knows what’s best for you! Just keep your faith!!”

    • Agree with you.
One needs to have patience to understand what has GOD planned for you.
Who knows - the work of GOD grants you success much more efficiently than what you had planned.

    • This is my life right now. I'm really glad I came across your blog because I've found that constantly reminding myself that every bad that's happening to me right now, is only setting up my life for better things to come in the future. Thank you for your thoughts!

    • This is so true and my grandson who has had a difficult year is learning this also. Thanks for sharing.

    • Yes I do believe everything happens for a reason but I've also learned that some times you can put yourself and others in a difficult spot for such things to happen that's why I stay to myself...

    • I will find the right reason once I am there and doing what I need to do. I love to find the reason, I love to realize it then I will able to appreciate the word Everything happens for a reason.

    • Things may happen beyond your expectation when you least expect them. I beg to disagree that when you are unable to achieve what you want to, it is because God doesn't want it. For it is already planned. God is just watching us on what we are doing and for our wrong choices, we suffering the consequence of it.

It is us who plan our future. It is us who make us successful or not. It is our faith in God that give us the strength, the power to keep on moving, especially in achieving our ambition in life. Our future lies in our hands. If we are lazy, nothing will happen to our life. If we want a better one, we work for it. It doesn't just happen.

    • I could still remember this movie line of Kung Fu Panda, "Things happen for a reason." I had so many reasons to say why things happen to me. Either bad or good, I just always think positively always. I don't want to fall back just because of bad circumstances in life. I had come to realize that life is not perfect. No one can help me if I dwell in a misery life.

    • That is very true. I have gone through it so many times, and I used to wonder and ask God why me always I never stopped to think that I could be going through them for some reason, but one time when I went through some stuff I chose to just speak to God and I sat back and watched. Later on when I thought a lot it and how things were moving I realized that God was saving me from a very bad and embarrassing situation and that's why I don't argue with God anymore I let go and let him. that way I am free of any kind of stress.

    • “Commit your path to the Lord and your way shall be established.” That scripture encourages the faithful and lets them know that if they trust Him, they will never stand on shaky ground because God is holding them in His hands. Whatever happens? No worries. Be blessed! :)

    • We are all connected and that takes me to the butterfly theory. What happens to you good or bad will have a bearing on someone else and again it could be good or bad. Trying to gauge a situation at its face value therefore needs rethinking
