England beat Sri Lanka in 4th ODI match of series,2011

Sri Lanka was scheduled to play a 5 Match ONE DAY International Series in England in 2011. Both teams have great players and all rounder’s and match winners and it would be interesting to see them battle in this series and who will be crowned as the winner after the series. The 4th ONE DAY international match was to be played on Trent Bridge, Nottingham, England on 6th July 2016. Sri Lanka earlier won the T 20 series 3-0.

Sri Lanka did not bat well and was able to post total of only 174 runs in 43.4 over’s at the loss of 10 wickets and with top scores of Kumara S who made 75 runs in 107 balls with 7 4’s and 0 six at the strike rate of 70 runs in 100 balls and Angelo M who made 39 runs in 49 balls with 1 4’s and 2 six at the strike rate of 80 runs in 100 balls.

England batted very well and was able to chase the score of 175 in 23.5 over’s at the loss of 0 wicket and won the game by 10 wickets in hand and top scores by  A Cook who made 95 runs in 75 balls with 16 4’s and 0 six at the strike rate of 127 runs in 100 balls.
