England beat Australia in 3rd T 20 match of series,2010

Australia was scheduled to play a 3 Match T 20 International in England in 2010. Both teams have great players and all rounder’s and match winners and it would be interesting to see them battle in this series and who batted very well  will be crowned as the winner after the series as they are ranked at 1 and 3. The 3rd T 20 international match was to be played on Lord’s, London, England on 6th July 2010. Australia holds the upper hand as they are more balanced team and playing very well as well.

England batted well and was able to post total of 180 runs in 20 over’s at the loss of 5 wickets and with top scores of Paul C who made 80 runs in 50 balls with 5 4’s and 2 six at the strike rate of 160 runs in 100 balls and Kevin P who made 40 runs in 20 balls with 4 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 200 runs in 100 balls.

Australia was needed to score 181 runs in 20 over’s to win this match.

Australia batted well but was unable to chase the target of 181 runs and was able to make only 161 runs in 19.5 over’s at the loss of 10 wicket and lost the game by 19 runs and with top contributions from M Hussey who made 60 runs in 40 balls with 4 4’s and 1 sixes at the strike rate of 150 runs in 100 balls.

England won the match by 19 runs and series ends at 2-1 in favor of England.
