El Classico time! (Real Madrid vs FC Barcelona)

It’s time for El Classico! FOR THOSE THAT DON’T KNOW: El Classico is short term for one of the biggest derbies in soccer history that involves Real Madrid vs  Barcelona. Time has come. I am writing this currently at half time but doesn’t matter, it does not change the fact that today one of the greatest matches in the season is being played currently.

I will try to be as brief as possible. Today is the 33rd match week in the Spanish La Liga, in which Real Madrid faces its biggest rival at Santiago Bernabeu. Currently, this is a very important match for both sides, and it will be title-deciding who wins the match as if Real Madrid wins this match, they will officially win the La Liga title of season 2016/17. But If Barcelona wins the match, they will have an equal amount of points (75 both teams) and Barcelona, in fact, will take over the first place as they have a better “Goals For” ratio. (They have scoren 92 total goals in this La Liga season, while the royal club and their bitter rivals – Real Madrid, only 83 goals). But it does not change the fact that even if Real Madrid loses this match, they will still be in the title race as they have 1 match less (32 played) and Barca has 33 matches played.

The starting eleven for Zinedine Zidane’s squad (RMA) today are; Keylor Navas, Sergio Ramos, Nacho, Marcelo, Carvajal, Toni Kroos, Casemiro (this jerk has a yellow card because he stepped on Messi’s leg and tackled him, so he deserves a red card because he already crossed the line) Luka Modric, Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale.

And the starting eleven that Enrique Luis picked today (BAR) are: Ter Stegen, Gerrard Pique, Sergi Roberto, Umtiti (has a yellow card because he tackled Real Madrid’s best player Cristiano Ronaldo in the first moments of the match) Jordi Alba, Andres Iniesta, Sergio Busquets, Ivan Rakitic, and the deadly trio without Neymar tho, Lionel Messi, Paco and Suarez.

Currently, it’s the 60th minute of the game, and the result is still 1:1. The goal scorers for both sides were Casemiro in the 28th minute after a perfect chance that Sergio Ramos didn’t finish, and the ball ended up in the legs of this beast that put the ball into the net.

But the joy had an extent, due to the latter goal of the best player in the world, The Argentine – Lionel Messi. Just after Real Madrid scored the lead goal and they led with 1:0, 5 minutes after that wonderful goal, Lionel Messi broke through some of Real Madrid’s defensive players  and put the ball in the net like a superhuman.
