Hello Everyone!
In my childhood, I was told a story – a boy was to be sent to Earth but he was reluctant. He cried complaining GOD that world is stranger for him. GOD replied – don’t worry, I have sent an angel who will introduce you to the world and will teach what’s good and bad for you. That angel will take care of everything you need. The boy asked – Okay. But how to identify that angel? GOD replied – that’s very easy. That angel is a female and is known by the name of mother.
The story was heart touching. Now, let us speak of some facts.
Being a mother is really a challenging task. We measure distance in meters, mass in grams, time in seconds. Ever thought how will we measure pain? Well, Dol is the unit. It is founded that Dol which mother experiences while bringing you in the world is much higher than a bone fracture in general (there are claims stating Del as unit of pain and 57 Del as what a mother feels as opposed to only 45 for a normal human but such claims are proven false because pain is subjective. However it is still undoubted that the pain of a mother is bigger than pain under normal scenarios).
In Bible, we know Jesus Christ is son of a virgin. In ancient Egyptian culture (Nile Valley civilization), we read story of Isis Cresto – the fatherless girl. Greek Deity Dionysus existed without any father’s involvement. So, we can hear stories of people who came without father. History does not mention a single name however, where birth happened without any mother.
So, it is obvious that we all are indebted to our mothers who bring us to this world. On 8th May each year, world celebrates mother’s day but I disagree that mothers need a day to be remembered. It is okay for those thankless children who dump their parents to oldage homes (and forget about them) to remember them once a year.
However, in any case it is almost impossible to pay this debt. As stated in some cultures – mother is your 1st Guru and serving her is key to heaven’s doorways.

Mothers should be remembered always, not only because it is the special day. Being a good daughter or I assumed I am a good daughter here, that it makes my mother proud of me, I hope so or just happy that her daughter is helping them with the needs at home.
I agree! Mothers don't need a special day. Their selfless love should be celebrated each day!

Yes, that's true. Yet, most of the children dont respect their parents this way. They do not learn unless they realize that their children too will follow the same suit. This is actually a bitter truth.
Mother's is a thankless job. It is not recognised and everyone takes it for granted. In some countries mothers are paid a salary.
