Daily NBA fixtures and results
Earlier this morning in the midnight, the rest two Game 3 matches of the NBA playoff were played. The first kick-off was at 2:00 AM between Memphis Grizzlies and San Antonio Spurs, and the second probably more exciting match was in the earliest hours at 4:30 AM between Portland Trail Blazers and Golden State Warriors.
So let’s discuss the first match (Grizzlies vs Spurs) that was a bit more interesting than the following match between Portland and Golden State Warriors because this first match ended up in a drawn result at the end of the regular time (4th quarter), and the result was 96:96 which we don’t see every day such results in the NBA, but anyways this result led to extra time, one additional quarter (+10 min).
Now here luck was the determining factor, as the both teams were equal even in the extra time, but Grizzlies didn’t fail to impress their home crowd, and won in the last seconds of the extra quarter with a result of 110:108 against the Spurs.
On the other side, Golden State Warriors played a tough game, but at the end, they won with 7 point difference, which they just bolted their path to the 1/4 finals and probably to the great finals. The Warriors were playing a meek match during the first half, they were not anywhere on the field to be found as they were losing to the Blazers, but that is their tactic, to toy with their prey, and in the last 2 quarters they scored 65 points to seal the match result and end up victorious. Key man for the Warriors was Stephen Curry as always, with 34 points in total, and Klay Thompson with 24 points. As for the Portland Trail Blazers, most points had scored through the game McCollum C. (32 pts) and Lillard D. (31 pts). Warriors need 1 more win to be the first team that will enter the 1/4 finals as the lead result would be 4:0 for them.
And Grizzlies with this devastating win just tied the game result (2:2) and made it even more interesting for us. Let us see what is coming next tonight with the next 4 matches tonight.
