I have noticed that these days everybody is going to write a book. I am not sure if this a trend or something. But based on what I have seen, almost every online person has his ebook. And when we open those PDF files, we have some basic content. And there is not much depth. So basically we end up downloading one more ebook which gains no value. So one should write the content that has some specific value. I’d say for that to happen one has to be good at writing. And make sure that the content has something for people to offer. And need to make that people are responding to that.
I found that many kindle authors are following this formula. They are writing such content and making people interact with them. So this type of writing is really good. That type of writing is what going to make people help make money. I have found that the content that I see in some bokos may not be that high quality. But surely it can put the point across. A lot of content is fluff and it lacks the depth. But considering how people are writing ebooks for short cash. I’d say writing short stories and the non fictional books can be profitable. Not everything that you throw in the kindle market will work.
There are some of the genres that work much better than the others. And then there are some of the other genres where ebooks are going to cost expensive. Choosing a niche with price and what works needs to be considered. I don’t think Kindle marketplace can answer a lot of those questions. I’d say writing kindle book can be a good option if you have some story to share or some non fiction stuff to share. But to be successful marketing and other factors play a big role.
There are lot of things to learn here. I have just started so there are plenty of things I have to learn along the way.

Insightful article. As a book writer for kindle, there is a challenge issued. The challenge is how to find your proper niche and write useful information. I have been blessed to have sold a couple of my ebooks. Although, I am not a millionaire, it's nice to see that someone is interested in my ebooks. Ebooks are good, short and free to publish if you know what you are doing. Today's technology offers us a shortcut and gone are the days of expensive publishing costs. The downside is getting exposure for you and your book and that is where the rubber meets the road.
I am convinced that marketing plays a big role and wish I had the confidence to market my eBooks the way some of the people who wrote the rubbish I have downloaded did! In one way though, it is nice people are writing and an eBook is a good way to get a message out if you have something worthwhile to say. I taught myself how to write one by writing an eBook on how to write an eBook and looking at all the conventions there were that people generally do not know. It is somewhere out there having sold a single copy, but I really wrote it for me and the next one maybe I will have confidence in the marketing side of things.
