Can we talk about Tony Moly Tomatox Magic Massage Pack, again?

Welcome to another edition of Korean skincare review, yay! For this item, I will not review the effectivity of the product, rather, the packaging! I already posted my initial thoughts on the product after trying out the sample sachet given to me for free by Jolse on one of my purchases. So far, nothing changed since that review. Ok, by now you must be wondering what product I am talking about, right? It is Tony Moly Tomatox Magic Massage Pack! And if you want to know my thoughts when I tried the sample, then click here to have a look at my product review post!

Moving on, after I was convinced by the sample, I already set my eyes (and wallet) to buy the full-sized bottle. I even tried to win the item through eBay auctions to get the best deal but it seems that this product is just too popular – it is hard to get a really good price! That’s why when Jolse made a discount on this item – I grabbed the opportunity to buy it! And you can see me unboxing this purchase if you click here to read the post!
Let’s talk about the packaging, shall we? Isn’t this the cutest thing ever? Tony Moly Tomatox Magic Massage Pack promises to address basic skincare issues and provide soothing relief quickly. It contains tomato-based extracts, which has been a proven natural way to brighten the skin. And because it contains tomato extracts, Tony Moly decided to place the product inside a cute little plastic tomato!

I think this is a great marketing tactic, to be honest. Since most of the Korean skincare patrons are girls – why not use girls’ ultimate “purchasing weakness”? I don’t speak for all the ladies out there but I think a good number of women would raise their hands if I ask if “who buys anything that just because it looks cute?”, right?
Now, let’s take a peek inside the tomato. If you appreciate the cute tomato packaging, you’ll love this even more. See that tiny plastic spoon over there? That’s included in the packaging. The logic is that you’ll use this tiny spoon to get the product instead of using your hands. It is very simple but ingenious at the same time. It is a great way to make sure your product stays germ-free or not contaminated with “foreign elements” as you use the product. So, a big kudos to Tony Moly for that!

Overall, I totally adore the packaging! I can’t wait to finish the product so I can rinse it off and give to my son to play, LOL!
If you like this product (or find it totally cute, too), have a look at Jolse’s website. I bought it for $9.58 at the time Jolse had a promotional discount for Tony Moly products. So I recommend that you sign up with Jolse and receive their newsletter to get the first news on their great deals, too!
