I have studied that the Babylonians were the inventors of astrology on earth and the charts they have made for centuries about how to predict weathers and seasons for personal uses. In the very beginning astrology and astronomy were the same science but with the passage of time both became separate each other due to some certain reasons.
It was Babylonians who introduced astrology to the Greeks in 4th century B, before it the Greeks were unknown to the word astrology. Aristotle considered it the greatest science of nature perfect from all respects but hidden from mundane eyes, seen by the physical eyes. First of Roman accepted it as their interesting subject and after this the Arabs accepted it as science and started its study with whole hearts in Arab countries. It was Arabs who introduced astrology throughout the world.
In the beginning astrology was used to predict weather for agriculture purposes, natural disasters and after this it was applied for human affairs and got success on earth more than European writers
The Zodiac was adopted by Egyptians and after this Babylonians expanded it in all walks of life pondering over it too much attention. In the beginning early astrologers knew twelve lunar cycles but after this they traced the link between houses and signs and planets. The oldest astrologers knew that when the moon will be in Aquarius signs or any watery sign rain will fall.
They divided the sign into four groups as fiery group consists of four signs Aries, Leo and Sagittarius, water group consists of Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces, air group consists of Libra, Aquarius and Gemini, earth group consists of Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo.
We may say that there are twelve signs, twelve house and seven major planets besides, Neptune, Pluto and Uranus. These three groups’ aspects make prediction for every event prediction.
Ancient astrologers awarded Venus love, Mercury speech and writing…Babylonians astrologers knew these seven planets the sun, the moon, mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn and Jupiter. They considered Mars the god of war an destruction and Venus the goddess of love.
They divided twelve houses as the first house belong to man personality, the second belong to money….

In the past many astrologers who got fame national and international here I will mention just one William Lilly who predicted the Fore of London and later proved true as he had written in his book. But in ancient age and modern age it was abhorred by the illiterate people as priests and mullas because they want to save their false and self made religion that is why they revolted against astrology and declared it a sin.
Pluto, Copernicus, Sir Isaac Newton, Flamstead and other people who declare it a royal and true art of heaven in the hands of man on earth. In the olden days it is called royal art and in every court were astrologers not magicians but magic is done under the plants’ influence because all earthly matters come under the influence of astrology.
Science has proved that planets rays influence man on earth if seen, by naked eyes and the rays leave bad effects on man’ health. But most of the people do not believe in this theory that planets’ rays affect human health and life organs due to lack of knowledge and nothing else.
I personally think that the planets are the angels working their jobs properly and writing man’s deed in the book of life without any mistake and even they write what we think and do nothing according to law of nature. Coming days will open its more secret for the coming generation.

I have not delved too deep into astrology but I do appreciate it. I am a Gemini and all points to Mercury being my planet. Astrology also says that as a Gemini I am an air sign and speech, talking and writing are my strong suits.
