Blue Roses Hoax

Have you seen that person buying exotic plants and fruits, and almost always following offers of  impossible herbs that solve all problems? Have you seen voodoo seeds and magical plants being sold but in reality was nothing but plain cucumbers or even tomatoes?

I know  person who bought  idea of  blue roses. That was years ago when I was only teen girl living with my parents.

And I know how to make blue rose. Trust me.

My parents are very giving and good people and after all sons having princess daughter they consider it ultimate gift and nothing was hard to gift me with.

We have this neighbor who is perfect gardener, perfect mother, perfect cook, perfect shopper … you know, one of that person who knows it all and knows it best.  Living next to her is not  best. I am not hating on her but I am not into her liking.

One day I came to this interesting hoax for her. I know how needy to get everything best she is, so I shall make fool of her.

I told my poor father to buy me small bush of white roses, just about to bloom in local florist. He agrees and next day it was. Nice big pot waiting to replant.

But instead I place it in visible place and for days to come bred different species of roses in my room.

I bought few simple non-bloomed white roses and soak m in ink – it took me while to get  good shade.

When it was done  and I make it right, during night, I cut   bloom staples from  garden pot and stick little whiskey bottles with water and floral liquid to keep plant staples fresh and blooms lush into  dirt of pot.

After I stick rose blue petals into that and cover with dirt.

Next morning my lady neighbor  put an eye on our ‘untidy’ garden and had  thing to see. re was that bush,  blooming blue  roses.

Now she looked and looked, but  blooms stay in perfect shape for days, like normal roses do. Staples were same but blooms blue.

She was unable to take it and finally stick skinny neck over fence asking how is so blue roses, it is impossible.

I told her it is  big secret, and roses come from sacred part of Timor and  taught y have to be fertilized with  silver neck eagle feces to make it blue.

So she was like… but she bought my story. Totally.

Till this day she still seeks eagle to defecate in her flower pot…

    • Everything is possible. Man is canny. He knows how divest things to make impossible possible. But growing a blue rose nowadays is no impossible. my wife has told me that she has already seen a blue rose. But the way, my wife is an avid gardener. She has her own small garden to tender and roses are one of her favorite flowers that are grown on her garden.

Sometimes I join her in taking care of her garden plants. And I am beginning to love flowers and working in the garden. In so doing, I am like talking to the nature, communing with those flowers and other ornamental plants grown on my wife's humble garden. I feel a bit complete and happy to do that. Nature speaks to people when you know how to do it and your life enjoys the joy within yourself.

    • Everything is possible indeed but with blue roses specie is something different. Any roses can't have blue color in their genetics for some reason, nobody knows.
Scientists make blue roses but it is not real blue coloration it is I think something pale darkie purple shade, not sure.
It is call blue rose but it is not.
I am interested in gardening but for now my garden limited to my mother part in garden we have not our own.

    • Yes in modern world everything is possible now you can buy out of season vegetables and fruits not to mention the blue rose, even you can buy magical rose and black rose. but your story and idea good.

    • You are so cunning? How could you do that to your neighbour surely, I can just try to imagine what she was thinking when she saw the "blue" roses that you had planted in your garden hahaha sounds very funny. I bet you she must have been watching them say after day to see them either, but because of her pride she wouldn't come to ask you how you came about with the blue roses. Anyway about people who are perfectionists, I have never been a particular fun of them. I don't like people who always want things in perfect order, sometimes it gets too boring when you have everything in order sometimes. It's good to sometimes just feel untidy and know how it feels. A person who always wants things done right, always gets on people's nerves because there is nothing that you will do that will impress them that will always have something to say oohh that's not right, that things is not in the right place and so on. Who really needs that.
