The good thing about last night is the mega size moon that is so big and bold in its light. Of course the science have told us that the full moon is 30 percent brighter than usual and about 10 percent bigger because of the once in a lifetime event in our solar system—making the moon larger in size to our very own eyes since 1948.
Then, it’s a bang. Blackout. Out of non-notice from the power company the lights went off instantly. No lights, no television no electric fans. And the whole community reacted to the instantaneous blackout or power outage.
Then the common reaction of the people ensued:
“Because they just collected our payment so they are playing again the electricity.”
“Because they wanted to jump up the used electricity so they jumping again the consume.”
“Because there is fire or a house might be in fire raze.”
“Because they sabotage the electricity.”
Lots of reaction when the electricity is cut off.
Well, in my case I called the information officer of electric distribution company of our province and he told me that it was not their fault but the National Grid Corporation who made the power outage.
So I texted the information of the power generation company why the electricity was cut off. She texted me back with the explanation—“the automatic load dropping being operated, this happens when the frequency we maintain for the entire Luzon grid goes below the minimum required level.” That was a technical explanation which I could hardly dig.
The good news is that the electricity resumed after 30 minutes, if I’m not mistaken. And the whole community was once again happy. The lights are on again inside their house.
Of course, the moon shine outside never went off. It just made more appreciated when the lights went off in the community. It seems the supermoon is brighter because of the blackout.###

A Micromoon, on the other hand, is when a Full or a New Moon is farthest from the Earth, around apogee. It's also known as a Minimoon, Mini Full Moon, or a Mini New Moon.
