Another popular myth associated with anger is that we command respect while showing ourselves to be angry and difficult. By exerting our position of age, status, hierarchy, etc. we cannot induce RESPECT in others. If others listen to me it is only because of fear, compulsion or their own upbringings and value systems. But there is no happiness of the listener and the reason for this sadness is attributed to the ‘controller’. Hello……..this is very serious!!! For your use of anger, you are being pointed out to be the source of unhappiness of someone else! Don’t forget the powerful impact of these immensely negative thoughts that people around are continually projecting on you for your obnoxious behaviour. The energies and vibrations of these collective thoughts by so many different persons are definitely going to alter your future. These are extremely deep negative energies which continually deplete the energy of the controller.

True respect, on the other hand, would arise for you when the other person really likes your presence, if the other person feels very pleasant in your company, when the other person feels honoured to obey to your request NOT COMMAND. Now you might be wondering how can one obey me in that way. How do we instil discipline in such scenario? The answer is very simple………consult any present day management guru and you will get the same response…….In order to get work done most efficiently, you need not get your subordinates obey your command. Rather you need to accede them to your request. You need to motivate them to such an extent that they listen to your guidances in a positive frame of mind (not the negative frame of mind which your anger might impose). RESPECT comprises of clean, powerful and positive thoughts emerging spontaneously. FEAR and RESPECT cannot go together, neither can FEAR and LOVE. It is high time we start to differentiate between respect and fear.

Obedience by force is not going to be everlasting. It will last only till the time the person is compelled to obey. The moment compulsion is gone, backlashes will result. At this situation, the condition of angry, insecure and diseased controller becomes highly depressive. Many Hitlers have come and gone in history, with every such departure, society has breathed a sigh of relief and has reverted back to its old normal ways. Society did not benefit anything out of their anger. On the contrary, history is also filled with the likes of Buddha who have left behind lasting imprints on the minds of millions. Society mourned the departure of such souls.
