India started Indian premier league in 2008. For all of your information Indian premier league is a domestic T 20 league started by the BCCI, Board of control for cricket in India. After the success of T 20 Matches and after India won the inaugural T 20 world cup in 2007, which was played in South Africa. Indian Premier league was started with 8 Major teams and these teams were: Kings 11 Punjab, Chennai Super kings, Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, deccan chargers Hyderabad, Kolkata knight riders, delhi daredevils. After that two more teams were included Kochi tuskers, and Pune warriors. But in the last year Chennai super kings and Rajasthan royals was suspended to participate in Indian premier league for 2 years, 2017 and 2018. And both teams can participate in the 2019 edition. Though Gujrat lions a new has been added, which makes total of 8 Teams. Every team play with other 7 teams twice, once in their home ground and second time on opponents home ground. And trust me its so much fun. As the name depicts, T 20 cricket means, the innings will be of max 20 overs, and first 6 overs are reserved for fielding restrictions and in which the opponent team can only put two fielder’s outside the 30 yard circle, which helps the batting side to make use of these fielding restrictions and score more runs in those first 6 overs of the match and have a kick start to their innings. If a team gets good start in first6 overs then it almost guarantees that the team will end with good total after 20 Overs of the game and may even hope to with the game as well by putting a challenging and difficult total for the opponent team. Also in Indian premier league, it is mandatory to take two time outs after 10 overs and till 20 overs so that teams can plan better and this really helps to understand the plans of teams think tank, and with these short breaks teams get help for implementing the plans properly.
