It’s been a while since I blogged about my nail polish collection. And remember my last post about my pharmacy super bargain? Well, I bought two! So here is the other nail polish bottle I bought from that trip to the pharmacy.
Nails Inc is quite expensive over here selling at around €8~ per bottle. So when I saw this was selling for a bargain price of €1 – I quickly snatched the deal! The bottle is a bit haggard-looking from scratches but so long as the product remains in good condition, it’s alright with me.
This second bottle of Nails Inc is called Optic Glow. It is a powder pink shade and looks really girly, too! I actually call it Barbie nail polish since it reminded me of those toys the moment I saw it in the pharmacy.
To get started, I applied one coat of clear base coat on my nails and waited to dry. Probably for about 2 minutes. Then, I applied the first coat of Nails Inc Optic Glow. As expected, it was a very light shade of polish. The first coat of polish was nowhere near as the end result I wanted for my nails. So I applied the second coat after drying for a bit. Unlike other nail polish that I have, the second coat still had huge polish gaps on my nails. I also noticed that it was a bit difficult to apply the polish as it was a bit goopy. I have a polish thinner but putting it at this stage would ruin my already painted nails and I was too lazy to do over, LOL! So I did what I can do and just applied the third coat. After that, the gaps were gone and the polish was applied evenly.
Since it took me three coats, I waited for about 5-10 minutes before applying the quick dry topcoat. I wasn’t too bored while doing that since I was clicking on some ads on my cell phone to pass the time anyway, LOL!
After waiting, I applied one layer of Sally Hansen Insta Dri top coat to finish the look!
I was so happy with the result and loved my Barbie nails. It was definitely one of my favorite nail polish shades from my collection. I’d probably need to add a bit of nail polish thinner I bought from BornPrettyStore to address the goopy texture but overall, I loved it.
Now, if only that look lasted similar to the other nail polish bottles I have in my collection. Sadly, it didn’t. It only lasted me about three days until the color on my pointer chipped. I was so annoyed because I really wanted the nail polish color to last.
Overall, it was a good bargain thinking that I bought this for only €1. But unlike the other Nails Inc nail polish bottles I have with me, this didn’t last me too long. I will still use it because I love the shade and just hope I will get lucky with longevity next time.
** You can also buy the nail polish thinner I use from BornPrettyStore and use the code SHASX31 to get 10% off from your purchase! **

Only can relate to nail art and beauty, but I think its nice to have this kind of nails, it shows how you take care of your self, it makes your confidence bigger because the beauty is the big boost for your self.
Yeah, I think it is important to make time for yourself no matter how busy you are. I guess to me, it is an added boost especially that I rarely go out and always on my comfy clothes. So doing these things extra means a lot to me :)
