Bangladesh Beat India in 1st ODI of series, 2015

India was scheduled to play a 3 Match One Day International Series in Bangladesh in 2015. Both teams have great players and all rounder’s and match winners and it would be interesting to see them battle in this series. The 1st ONE DAY international match was to be played on Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka, Bangladesh on 18th June, 2015.

Bangladesh batted very well and aggressively and was able to post total of 307 runs in 49.4 over’s at the loss of 10 wickets and with top scores of Bangladesh Star batsman and left hand opener T Iqbal who made 62 runs in 62 balls with 7 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 97 runs in 100 balls and other opener S Sarkarwho made 54 runs in 40 balls with 8 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 135 runs in 100 balls.

India was needed to score 308 runs in 50 over’s to win this match and to take lead in the series 1-0.

India started well and aggressively but lost its way in the middle and end over’s and was only able to make 228 runs in 46 over’s and was lost 10 wickets and top scored by R Sharma who made 60 runs in 68 balls with 4 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 93 runs in 100 balls.

Bangladesh won the match by 79 runs and leads the series 1-0.
