Baked Chocolate Cheesecake

I had never expected that cheesecake tasted better than cream cakes!

All of a sudden, cheesecake had became one of my favorite dessert that I had learn how to bake this delicious cake from scratch.

Honestly, I love baked chocolate cheesecake compare to vanilla or any other flavor.

I love the flavor of chocolate by using cocoa powder instead of pure baking chocolates which helped me to save cost.

I also used slices of freshly cut kiwi fruit for decoration on top of the cake.

Ingredients you need to prepare Baked Chocolate Cheesecake

#1 – Biscuits

You will need to use digestive biscuits for the base of this cheesecake.

Digestive biscuits are easily digested , tasted bland , which is suitable for baking cakes.

If you are out of digestive biscuits, you could replace them with graham biscuits or cream crackers , plain type.

Fill up the biscuits into a ziplock bag, seal it and crush them by banging with your fist.

#2 – Soft Cheese & Yogurt

Buy low fat soft cheese for a healthier cake.

Buy low fat yogurt, choose the natural or original flavor instead of fruity yogurt.

Fruity yogurt would mix up the cheesecake fillings.

1 cup of original yogurt is sufficient for the cheese cake fillings.

#3- Cocoa Powder

Some cheesecake recipes used pure baking chocolates, you can melt the chocolate first before mixing into the cake batter.

Leave extra cocoa powder for scattering the surface of the cake later.

#4- Kiwi Fruit

I chose Kiwi fruit instead of banana or other tropical fruits for garnishing my chocolate cheesecake.
