Most of us are terrorizing ourselves with gloomy thoughts, and this only worsen already not so good situation. An elephant is growing from the little fly. We cannot live in constant waiting that something bad will happen. Very often we even go to sleep, mentally drawing the worst view of our problem. It is very similar to kids, like baby imagines that a monster sits under his bed, and fears his own fantasies. No wonder that we cannot sleep. As a child we also need parents who will come and hug us. But we already grew up and know that only we can calm down ourselves.
Often ill persons scare themselves. They imagine the worst option. They think about their own funeral until finally completely ceases to feel as personalities. The bad thoughts can ruin even our relationship. A partner did not call you? And you quickly decide that something bad happened, or maybe you feel left in the distance? The same you can think about the work. Someone criticized you and you feel not appreciated, you think about dismissal. In this way, you create paralyzing thoughts and even strengthening them.
Remember that such thoughts are like negative affirmations. So, if you are catching a negative thought, try to look for images that you would be happy to replace your thoughts. Perhaps it will be beautiful flowers, maybe sunrise or something what you like very much. Use this picture as the switch each time you start to scare yourself. Say to yourself that you will not think so anymore, that you will think about sunset, roses, yachts and maybe a waterfall. Choose any pleasant image. If you do this exercise regularly, gradually you will get rid of the habit of self-scare.
Negative, frightening thoughts already are the information that in most cases is confirmed later.
