Did you have problems with your bowel movement at any time because of hard stools? Is this a common and recurring problem for you? If yes and if you ate a lot of processed foods then it is time for you to wake up to the reality. You may be suffering from the phenomenon of diverticulitis, or other diseases of the intestine. What is it? It is the output of the infection of the bowel wall and it takes place because of the intake of more processed food and less fibered food. And the consequences of it are not so inviting.

In the age of packaged and fast food, and in this fast paced digital life, we have really become so ignorant of our own body that we do not even think about the consequences of what we are. What we see is that it makes us fat or thin, and for getting a good figure, we compromise on good eating habits. The result comes in the form of irritable bowel syndrome, acid reflux, nausea, bloating, diarrhea, stomach related problems like constipation and inflammatory bowel disease. And what we get is a visit to the doctor once a week. How strange it sounds.

In times when you hardly have time for yourself, you have to take time out to visit a doctor. Most diseases of the stomach are related to our gut and its wall. It is a soft surface, and the intake of food and water decide what will be the consequences. It is for that reason, we should be very careful with our food habits. There are drugs available for these diseases, but they rarely throw out the disease. They only cure the symptoms. So, what is the solution? It’s pretty simple. Just turn to nature and you have the answer.

The herbal and natural remedies have been the best in curing any type of disease including those of the liver and other organs. For one thing, herbal and natural remedies have no side effects. At the same time, they give lasting results and actually cure disease. The interesting thing about the diseases of the intestine is that their remedy lies in the food itself. For example, there are herbal remedies for IBS ginger, peppermint and chamomile and the like and they all can be in the form of tea. In the same way, the natural cure for acid reflux lies in carrot juice and olive oil.

The remedies available for diverticulitis or other diseases of the intestine are fruits like papaya, healthy liquids and orange juice. If you just say no to processed foods, drink lots of water, reduce the consumption of caffeine and alcohol and exercise on a daily basis, all problems related to the liver as well as the intestine can be kept in check. A normal routine is the need to live a healthy life. And what can you do with all the money you earned if you do not have a good health.

    • You have truly nailed it. All the problems we seem to be having that are connected to the stomach all book down to what we feed our stomachs. In this day and age where healthy eating has become a thing of th3 last. People really don't care much about what they put in their mouths as long as they get satisfied we don't even think about the consequences. I agree fully with you on this one and if we all just get into th3 habit of eating healthy at least incooperate out meals with vegetables and lots of water then we can avoid stomach problems at all times.

    • Actually, Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) involves chronic inflammation of all or part of your digestive tract. IBD primarily includes ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. Both usually involve severe diarrhea, pain, fatigue and weight loss. IBD can be debilitating and sometimes leads to life-threatening complications.

You have rightly said that bowel disease is common in men and women but it is due to poor eating and lack of exercise. The main cause of it is to drink less water early in the morning or take tea early in the morning makes stool hard.

      What are the symptoms?
The main symptoms of ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease are similar. They include:
pain, swelling or cramping in the tummy
      recurring or bloody diarrhoea
      weight loss
      extreme tiredness
Not everyone has all of these symptoms, and some people may experience additional symptoms, including vomiting, anaemia and high temperature (fever).
The symptoms of IBD can come and go. People may experience periods of severe symptoms (flare-ups), and go through long periods when they have few or no symptoms at all (remission).

We all must care for bowel disease at the early stage otherwise it converts into fistula with the passage of time. It is more dangerous than pile.

    • I agree that by diverting from the path of nature, we are having stomach problems which cause many diseases that is why people living in villages are healthier than those living in cities.

    • I also advocate shifting to herbal and natural remedies. They are not only effective but also very cheap, and their effect is not temporary.

    • Indeed, this is a masterpiece...
Our society has grown so lazy that the dont value the usefulness of natural food materials.. Cooking has become a thing of strain and stress to them which ought not to be...most canned food are in subscription of many dangerous chemicals... Until one realises the usefulness of ones own health,, they cant leave properly,, eat less canned food, eat much fibrres and vegetables.. That is the most healthy way of growth
