India was scheduled to play a 5 Match One Day international series in Australia in 2016. This series was important as both teams were preparing for the T 20 World Cup to be played later in India in 2016. The 5th and final One Day international match was to be played on Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney, Australia on 23^rd Jan, 2016.  Australia already won the series 3-1 with 1 more game to play but still both teams will try to win the remaining match, so to keep the spirits high.

India batted very well and was on the way to win this game and chased the total of 331 runs in 49.4 over’s and top scored by M Pandey who to scored and made unbeaten 104 runs in 81 balls with 8 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 128 runs in 100 balls and R Sharma who made 99 runs in 108 balls with 9 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 92 runs in 100 balls.

India won the match by 6 wickets.
