Australia beat South Africa in 4th ODI of series,2009

South Africa was scheduled to play a 7 Match ONE DAY International series in Australia in 2009. Both teams have great players and all rounder’s and match winners and it would be interesting to see them battle in this series and who batted very well  will be crowned as the winner after the series as they are ranked at 1 and 3. South Africa batted well but was unable to chase the target of 266 runs and was only able to make 249 runs in 50 over’s at the loss of 9 wicket and lost the game by 16 runs and with top contributions from H Gibbs who made 70 runs in 50 balls with 4 4’s and 4 sixes at the strike rate of 140 runs in 100 balls.

Australia won the match by 16 runs and series stands at 2-2 in favor of none with 3 more games to play.
