Australia Beat England in 2nd ODI of series, 2011

England was scheduled to play a 7 Match ONE DAY International Series in Australia in 2011. Both teams have great players and all rounder’s and match winners and it would be interesting to see them battle in this series. The 2nd ONE DAY international match was to be played on Belle rive Oval, Hobart, Australia on 21st Jan 2016.

Australia batted very well and was able to post total of 230 runs in 48.2 over’s at the loss of 10 wickets and with top scores of S Marsh who made 110 runs in 114 balls with 8 4’s and 2 six at the strike rate of 96 runs in 100 balls and C White who made 45 runs in 76 balls with 3 4’s and 0 six at the strike rate of 59 runs in 100 balls.

England batted poorly and was unable to chase the score of 231 runs and was bowled out for only 184 runs in 45 over’s and lost the game by 46 runs and top scores by Ian B who made 32 runs in 61 balls with 2 4’s and 0 six at the strike rate of 52 runs in 100 balls.

Australia won the match by 46 runs and now leads the 7 match ODI series 2-0 with 6 more games to play.
