AN OLD HOUSE , BUT STILL THE BEST FOR ME AND WILL KEEP COMING BACK TO RELAX

I don’t know if some of you can relate to me with this post.

You see,  the house of our parents where most of my almost 24 years were spent together with my siblings, until my marriage, were spent there.

It was a modest two storey house that sits in the middle of a vast lawn, that my father bought from his father.  It has a front lawn and a backyard.

Although the house is already old, it is for me the best because when you sit in the receiving room and open the sliding doors front and back, you can see the front lawn and the back lawn.

Just sitting there, watching TV would never bore you because you get to see people coming into the snack house of my sister,  on the left side of the lawn, which was actually the garage.  My parents always does this, sit in their rocking chair, watch TV  and also patrons of the snack house.

My daughter also loves the house.  Specially, that she can just pick guavas, Indian mangoes, passion fruits and even pomelo when they are in bloom and much more most of his cousins are within the compound.

In addition, are orchids and flowers in front and the fruit bearing trees at the back.

She said, she hopes my parents will not have it renovated into other design, which I know won’t be, because I told them to instead keep their money for their future medical expenses, if ever.

Around the house at the side and by the backyard, are kennels of local as well as big dog and small dogs of different breeds. There is also an aquarium at the side of our porch and a house for hedgehogs.

You will know that not only are the people living here fond of plants but also of animals.

I bet, you too have a place that will always be in your heart.

    • Your house still looks gorgeous yet lonesome. Are your parents still living this time? Just asking. For me, this is the best location of the house, full of peace and cool ambiance. Where is this located? You may also blog here Mt. Mayon for it i a very famous volcano even abroad especially those researchers that gather comparative data of the different top views in the world.

Congrats friend.By the way, @shavkat is here in LB.

    • So sad m our house in the province was destroyed for it was made a shabu laboratory.I posted that in ML many months ago. Our house was also cool with an floor area of 335 square meters, so big 3 storey that was the reason why it was made a shabu lab.The caretaker was sued and now in jailed. We jailed our relative for conspiring with the bad elements.

      • But you can still have it repaired. Or better still sell it and buy a small house that has a garden.

Though maybe the house where you are all staying now is so much better and it is what you can call a "home".
