Afghanistan Beaten by Zimbabwe in 3rd ODI of series,2016

Afghanistan was scheduled to play a 5 Match ONE DAY International Series in Zimbabwe in 2016. Both teams have great players and all rounder’s and match winners and it would be interesting to see them battle in this series. The 3rd ONE DAY international match was to be played on Harare Sports Club, Harare, Zimbabwe on 21^st Feb 2016.

Zimbabwe batted poorly and was able to post total of only 129 runs in 32.4 over’s at the loss of 10 wickets and with top scores of T Musakanda who made 60 runs in 74 balls with 6 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 81 runs in 100 balls and M Waller who made 36 runs in 45 balls with 4 4’s and 0 six at the strike rate of 80 runs in 100 balls.

Afghanistan was needed to score 130 runs in 50 over’s to win this match and to take lead in this 5 ONE DAY match International series 3-0.

Afghanistan batted very poorly  and was bowled out at the score of only 126 runs in 29.3 over’s and lost by 3 runs and top scores by  Asghar S who made 31 runs in 33 balls with 3 4’s and 0 six at the strike rate of 94 runs in 100 balls.

Zimbabwe won the match by 3 runs and trails in this 5 match ODI series 2-1 with 2 more games still to play.
