Zimbabwe batted well but was unable to chase the total of 218 runs and was only able to make 99 runs in 27.2 over’s at the loss of 4 wickets which is 13 runs behind as per the D/L method adopted as match was interrupted by rain and top scores by C Ervine who made 38 runs in 56 balls with 2 4’s and 0 six at the strike rate of 68 runs in 100 balls.
Afghanistan won the match by 12 runs and takes leads in this 5 match ODI series 1-0.
