Apple has recently launched new iphone 7 and iphone 7 plus with latest IOS 10 version. I have also heard that some people able to jailbreak this latest IOS version too. Though it is for limited things I guess. I am not sure about it as I have just heard it. But still jailbreaking such latest IOS in this short time is big thing. Now about jailbreaking, I have already published one article regarding jailbreaking and basic knowledge regarding same. Now with this one we will learn the advantages and disadvantages of jailbreaking.
Access of extra applications: After jailbreaking iphone you can install different apps which are not available store which unique features. As I said after achieving jailbreak users can reach to system folder easily. And also all new applications which can be installed from cydia are system related apps. So users can do much more from those kinds of applications.
System related customization: As I said user can get access of system folders after jailbreaking iphone. So we can do much more system related customization on our iphone after this. This will surely make your iphone more customization and easy to use. Users can access many things directly with many shortcuts. This will enhance user experience for sure.
Career unlock: I have also heard that we can unlock career locked phone to with jailbreak. I don’t know because I don’t have knowledge regarding it but I have heard that we can temporary unlock our iphone using this. So it is another advantage of it.
It is risky: As I said with my previous article, Jailbreaking iphone method is not easy. Process of jailbreaking may vary depending on iphone model and ios version. So each of them has different methods and they are not easy at all (except few). So if someone is having half knowledge about it then better to avoid it by doing their self, otherwise they can brick their costly iphones.
Void warranty: It is not official thing. So jailbreaking means voiding warranty of our iphone. After jailbreaking your iphone your phone is no longer in warranty period. It is similar thing like android where rooted android don’t have any warranty. So if you still having your phone in warranty period then better you avoid it if you aren’t sure what you are doing.
Accessing system area is risky: Accessing system area which is blocked by company itself is always risky. Otherwise they couldn’t have locked it for sure. If by chance you delete some system file then your phone will not start again for sure. So even if you have jailbreak iphone then better you don’t play with system files unless if you have proper knowledge regarding it. It can be risky.
So this is it. These are the advantages and disadvantages of jailbreaking iphone. Honestly saying if someone is having proper knowledge regarding this subject then there are more advantages over disadvantages. So for me Jaibreaking iphone is the cool stuff if you have full knowledge regarding it. Otherwise better you have proper knowledge about it before going for it. Best of luck.
