Teeth are a very important part of your body and a major reflector of your health. They help us not only in chewing food but also in speech and shaping our facial muscles.
Human have 2 sets of teeth:

The number of milk teeth is 20 and that of permanent teeth is 32.
Teeth have different shapes and different functions. Each of them has a specific place and position in the jaw.
The different types of teeth with their functions are:
1).INCISORS: They are sharp, chisel shaped front teeth that are used for cutting food.
2).CANINES: They are the pointed ones used for tearing food. They are also known as cuspids and are the strongest teeth.

IMPORTANCE OF BABY TEETH:
Your child’s BABY TEETH are very important. In spite of that fact that they will be replaced by the permanent ones proper care is very important for them as well. They have very important functions:

I removed my wisdom teeth and I have all my permanent teeth with some cavities.
nice piece of article which is very informative on tooth care. Without the tooth how will humanity look like? i hard hole in my tooth some month back and the pain was unbearable. The teeth are connected to all organs on the head and therefore need the best of care.
Your post shows what a good dentist you are my friend.
My mother and father both have full dentures. Thus, us their children, had our partial dentures even when we were still in primary grades.
Our teeth would really be easily damaged so all of us had our partial dentures at an early age.
And because I already had a phobia of the injection, after college, I had all my teeth extracted and had my full dentures. At least, I don't have a problem of my teeth getting achy and be crying the whole night.
Now my problem, is how to make my denture whiter, since it has become a bit yellowish although i always brush them well , 4 times a day.
When I was young, dental care was free here in the UK. I think it made all the difference because everyone looked after their teeth better. Not many people realise bad teeth can affect other areas of health. Mine are pretty good and I put it down to that until I was forty or so I got the dental care free that I can no longer afford.
