People say that girls fall in love with guys that remind them of their fathers. If that is the case to men fall in love with women who remind them of their mothers?
I’ve been with my fiancé for 7 years there are days I find myself acting like his mother cleaning, picking up after, and taking care of him like I am anyhow.
The more I ponder about the question at task the more I realize he is just like my father short tempered, works on the road a lot, and what not. What in our minds makes us chose spouses based on our parents?
Could it be the way a mother cares for her son? Or perhaps the impact a father has on their daughter which in most cases referred to as “daddy’s girl”.
The more I have outings with his mother or dinner…the more I sound like her at home is this horrible? The fact that he points it out “you sound like my mom right now” or “okay mom” it must be.
To know a majority of people end up with spouses based upon their parents shouldn’t we want to be the best role models for our children?

Many are the times when I have heard from people say that most of the time a woman will always marry a man who is like the father and half the time it turns out to be real. But not everyone goes through that. But if we can look around you will find that some of the qualities that are in your husband are the same as the ones of your father. Sometimes theyr are good qualities and sometimes they are not, I guess one can always try to see things differently but it doesn't change much. Like me, my fiancee may not be like my dad but I can see some characteristics in him that were in my dad. I sometimes wish I could change one or two things but I can't so the best I can do is commit him in prayer and pray that God may change him for the better.
