Most of us out here cannot think about starting our morning without our favourite beverage i.e. coffee. However how many of us know these amazing facts about our favourite coffee.
Its time to test your knowledge about your favourite morning drink i.e. coffee.
Well you would be surprised to know that Coffee was discovered by a goat.
Yes.. It was a Goat!! Coffee was discovered after a person observed some erratic behaviour in the nature of the goat after it had munched on coffee berries. The coffee berries were ordered to be burnt which then resulted in the discovery of the method of roasting of coffee beans.
So.. now we know whom to thank for the invention of coffee.
Its Coffee that helps in improving the long term memory of bees.
So it means you are not the only one who loves your favourite cup of coffee. Even bees do love their coffee. Observations showed that after feeding on coffee beans, the bees found it helpful in tracing their track back from one flower bed to an another flower. The caffeine present in the coffee helps the bees trace their paths as they fly over various flower beds, thus improving the long term memory of the bees.
Can you imagine this. Sounds bizarre but one could file a divorce if they did not like the taste of the coffee prepared by their spouse. Its just one of the bizarre divorce laws which is now abolished and does not exist any more.
Not Really.. There are many studies surrounding this fact and one such study proves that roasting coffee beans for a longer time does not result in an increase the amount of caffeine present in coffee beans. Hence dark roasted always does not imply more caffeine over a light roasted coffee bean.

yes, it made the goat temper that erratic, so are the coffee drinkers!
