LEAVING THE TRUE GOD KIND OF LIFE.

Leaving the life of Christ is not an easy task for today’s generation and man continue to deceive themselves with the Christian religion because we do not practice what we preach on a daily bases. Walking with God has been taken over by the desire of the world as we do not really understand the trueness of the creator of our very being.

God is the creator of the entire universe and everything that dwells in it. He gave the breath of life to man which enables us to leave a superior life on the land on which he has created above all other creation of his but the question is “do we really see God for who he is in our existence?

Walking the Christian life requires lot of sacrifices which must take us away from the world and the things of this world. The word of God said he who belongs to me does not belong to this world, but he who belongs to this world does not belong to me. It simple, you can not belong to the world and heaven at the same time. In the principle of heaven and the earth, there is no dual citizenship.

 

Sacrifice required of a born again Christian:

1 John 2:15-17

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If any one loves the world, the love of the father is not in him. For everything in the world, the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does, comes not from the father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.

 

Once you accept Christ as your Lord and personal saviour, you have made a part with God and have left your human nature behind. You become a new creation but the question do we really understand it when we accept Christ and become born again?

Being born again in Christ sets you apart from your past self; you become a new creation not by birth but by your faith in God through his son Jesus Christ. You do not go back into your mothers womb to be reborn but your have been spiritually transformed from your human nature to a new nature.

When anyone is born, we are born into a family. It is in that families we grow and learn the ways of man so when we become born again, we are supposed to be born into a family.

It is in this family that we are supposed to learn the ways of things. The very first sacrifice of a born again is to denounce his family lineage because in Christ our earthly family linage does not hold. In Christ we have only the Abraham lineage so once we become born again; we are transformed from our human family to the Abraham family. We form the New Jerusalem with Christ as our leader and God as our father.

Christianity today is very difficult because we are all still clinching to our family lineage and heritage.

If we understand our newness in Christ as born again, all this Christian denomination and difference in faith will not be there. A born again protestant can not win and dine with a born again Adventist because they do not belong to the same church but the question is who the source of that church is?

When we understands how we have been born again in Christ, we will cast aside all our difference, our family lineage, our educational background, our status in life and walk and leave together in the one body of Christ.
