When you visit our retail space, we throw out the welcome mat and make it easy for a pop in because you’ll find excellent, easily accessible parking right beside our gallery.

Collector’s Choice Art Gallery doesn’t just help you purchase original art that’s perfect for your corporate, office or living space, we make sure the art you buy is installed with placement perfection. We provide framing services, ideas and hands-on direction for hanging and displaying art and we’ll even visit your space and help you refresh it by rearranging and re-hanging art you’ve just purchased with art you’ve collected from before.

Owners, Lissa Gruza and Murray Gruza

Lissa Gruza was born and raised in Moose Jaw. She attended the University of Saskatchewan and has attended many workshops on fine arts and picture framing. She most loves working with clients to solve individual decorating and framing challenges. In 1979, she – along with Murray – opened Collector’s Choice Art Gallery.

Murray Gruza was born and raised in Saskatoon and is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. He has worked as a display person in retail and spent 7 years in educational television, working in various capacities as cameraman, set builder, lighting director, and director. In 1979, he accepted a new opportunity and became a partner in the new gallery, Collector’s Choice Art Gallery. In July of 1980 he became the manager and full time employee of the gallery. He eventually became sole owner of Collector’s Choice, and continued to expand the business, travelling to seminars, courses, and workshops throughout Canada and the United States. Over the last 33 years Murray has taken pride in finding the right solution for his clients’ art and framing needs.
