Ways to Identify an Abusive Person (Female)

Although rarely mentioned there are abusive women.  Women who absorb their men to the extent that he is an appendage to her.

By the time he realises that he no longer exists, it is too late.   He can not understand how he wound up in this position; owned and operated by this woman who virtually owns his brain.

The abusive woman comes in two styles;   there is the ‘CEO’ who can solve all problems, and the Lemur Lady, who seems ever so submissive.

Both of them come into the relationship from two different points, but the results are the same.

WOMAN

The CEO

She suddenly appears in his life.  She can solve all problems. She has money, she has power, she has control.

She’s confident, she’s clever, she listens to every word he says.

She will lavish her wealth on him,  she will dazzle him.   She seems so focused on him that there’s no one else in her world.

She wants to know everything about him.    She wants to give him everything, she wants to be everything. He feels that no one has ever loved him or will love him this way.

It doesn’t matter if he loves her or not, he can not afford to lose her.   That is the bottom line. He can lose his friends, his family, but he can not lose this woman.

She offers him a life he can not imagine.

LEMUR LADY

Coming from a totally different direction is the ‘Lemur Lady’.   This woman portrays being submissive.   This woman never argues, she never expresses a contrary opinion, to his.   She always wants to do what he wants to do.  She never complains.  He knows he wears the pants, he knows that he is in charge.

Never before had he met a woman who conforms to him.   He has to have her.  He must have this woman in his life.

In both cases, the man never wonders; ‘What does this woman want with me?  Why Me?  What is the point?
