Food that expires easily in your refrigerator

The food that expires in our refrigerators has to be removed in time, unless we want to spoil everything else inside of it, plus we will cause the refrigerator itself to fall victim of an unwanted bacteria and fungi infections.

It is not so un common that people suffer from various digestive problems due to the food they didn’t store properly or even eat it after their due-date.
If left untreated that kind of infections can cause severe problems and in some cases even the hospitalization.

The best practice is to eat all your food immediately, in less than a few days after the opening and always take notice what you are using and how.

Deli meat for sandwiches is one of the foods you should take notice of. This food is usually wrapped in the plastic wrapper that does not protects it sufficiently, so you will easily end up eating spoiled meat.

Hot dogs don’t last forever, we forget this because we are used that this heavily processed food can last a bit longer than any other fresh thing. But in reality, it can only last maybe for a week.

Garlic will decompose under a few hours in the refrigerator if minced, and cloves can last only a few days inside of it. It will also give a weird smelly taste to entire refrigerator.

Cracked egg by accident can only last up to two or three days. Better use it that day to avoid any unplanned difficulties.

Cooked bacon is only good inside of a week time if fresh better cook it inside two to three days.

Mayonnaise can’t last for too long, so if opened you have to waste it inside of a refrigerator under 2 months time, and if you left it by accident at a room temperature for more than 2 hours you have to toss it away.

Leftover that is older than 2 or three days is no more an eatable product, you have to toss it away. But make sure it doesn’t rest on air too much because it will multiply bacteria and you can end up with stomach issues.

Any temperature above 40 and 140 degrees F can cause you severe troubles if food is left out for more than hour or two.

Wine can be dangerous as well. After one to two days it will lose taste, and after six it is unsafe to drink.

Tomato based sauce for pasta or tomato paste has to be used within five days from opening their lid.

Condiments have almost the indefinite time of life if they are left unopened, but once opened they are no more safe after a certain period of time. And each has a different expiration date, but we can tell easily by color, texture or their smell of something went wrong.

I hope this little list have helped you to realize what kind of a food may damage not only your personal health but also a health of your family. Any food can look healthy and intact but the reality is much different. Some bacteria don’t cause strange smells, so the best thing and the best practice is not use any food left in the refrigerator after more days opened.
