Shyam was not in the habit of sleeping on flights. But may be due to the fact that he had slept for just a few hours over the past 4-5 days since he had been called for the special mission, or that he had woken up and slept at odd hours, he fell asleep only a few minutes after the flight took off for the city of Haginx, which was an important Financial and Business Hub of Xanade, just like Mumbai was. The overall flight time was 8 hours, and it looked like an eternity for Vir Goel, who did not sleep but immersed himself into a few travel magazines that talked about cultural and tourist spots in Haginx and surrounding areas of Jaqori Bay, Kolnede City and a few more.
Vir was quite fond of traveling, and his travel experiences had helped him in his work too.

11:30 from start

Rajesh Gupta(Vir Goel) and Hari Rawat(Shyam) landed at Digson Tech International airport at Haginx. This airport had recently been taken over by a private firm, and within 1.5 years, it had been renovated at a fast pace.
They soon found a cab earmarked for them, and a pleasant journey began for them through lush green countrysides and some breathtaking sceneries to Zingcaq, one of Xanade’s port city.
It was nearly 40 minutes and they were almost halfway the route to Xanade.
The cab driver stopped on one side, and gestured to them saying that he had to answer the nature’s call and would use a public toilet facility by the roadside, and that it will take some 10 odd minutes.

A Sudden attack and a twist in the tale

At first, Rajesh thought that probably some animals were roaming nearby in the woods. However, the noise grew louder and soon, there was a knock on the cab door.

Rajesh and Hari turned and saw 5 armed persons with automatics and pistols signaling them to come out.
Both had no option but to come out.

‘Raise your hands’, signaled one of the armed men in traditional Kshenge, a local dialect.
Soon, they were flooded with some questions
‘Who are you? Where are you going to?’
They then hit them with the backs of their automatics. However, there was no answer.
‘Kill them’, shouted one of the men.
It was not a nice scenario to be in. Hari was planning how to start his emergency response system by pressing a small device in his shirt pocket.
However, before that there was a big smoke and a few shots’ sound.
The smoke cleared, and Rajesh and Hari saw two men dead, and to the ground, and one more who was holding his hand in pain, as it had been hit by a bullet.
Rajesh and Hari took no time, and diving, they took the automatics of the two dead men, and with a few shots and a few more dives, they had take care of all the remaining three men.
The smoke cleared further, and they could see a woman, nearly 32 years of age dressed in black jacket and a dark grey jeans, with an Gorkos 511 pistol and a small device which looked like a smartphone.
Rajesh and Hari took positions, but the woman came near them and told them in Kshenge, which Hari(Shyam)understood
“Gentlemen, you can relax. The mosquitoes have been taken care of. You are safe now.”
She then came near them, and took off here Dark spects
“Agent Mixa Donhe from Xanade Military Intelligence-South(XMIS). I have been assigned to help you out into your mission.”
Rajesh asked “But how do you came to knew we were in danger?”
Mixa “Well, you are aware that you were to meet Zhen Packring at Zingcaq, but that won’t be possible now.”
“But why?”
“Because he has been shot by some unidentified men, whom we later have pinned down to as members of SavI-X, a mafia started by Zheng Doxeyl.
And these five were his men, who wanted to kill you.”
“A big why again?”
Mixa continued “This is something we can’t get too far about.
You see we had a contract with BIE, to help you guys reach certain extermist elements within our country, who are aided by some of nuisance creating armed forces members within our country.
Due to certain confidential reasons and political scenario, we can’t take action against these groups.
Moreover, BIE has found strong evidence that these groups are going to create big trouble.
So, we provide a safe passage for you guys and you take care of these people.
Rajesh continued “I have heard that Han and Zheng died in a chemical factory explosion when they were on a trip outside Xanade.”
“Yes, but their mafia and terror aiding groups and cells continue operating in Xanade and some other Asian countries, and are on our wanted list.
However, they also have connections in higher political reaches, so things get quite tough at times.”

“Ah, so here is a person who will fire the actual shot, and the guide will be another person?”
“Yes, sometimes, such things do happen in Intelligence and diplomatic circles, and as Spies, we just have to do our bit.”
Mixa continued “Gentlemen, your driver has perhaps absconded, so I will have to leave my bike here, and drive you to Qin-Daxos, from where you will be on your own.
And needless to say, we have never met, and don’t know each other.”
“Right.”
“Right.”

Mixa drove them and dropped them near the central market hub of Qin-Daxos.
“Goodbye gentlemen.”

Rajesh and Hari were now on their own in an enemy territory.
