What is communication in Marriage? Communication in marriage is a transmitting of information from a husband to his wife and vice versa. It is the mutual giving of information to them which involves talking, writing and other schemes of information developed by them. Communication also involves nodding with the head or winking with the eyes to approve or disapprove of an issue when the couples are together. It is expected that couples transmit information to themselves all the time. Even dumb couples use sign language with their hands to inform themselves. Others with physical challenges evolve systems of communications for themselves. Nowadays the emergence of computer with internet facilities can be used for communication. The handset is there for calling, sending of text messages and email messages. Other numerous gadgets, systems and devices are now used to facilitate communication. In the years gone by communication was by word of mouth, letter writing, telegram, telegraph and long journeys to meet and communicate with loved ones. In the past communication had operational delays as a result of incompetence. Today we receive information within seconds. Communication involves all life’s issues.
What is a breach? A breach is a failure to observe a law, a contract and a behaviour that can stop the smooth running of normal life. It is also a break in friendly relation. Breach of communication between married partners is the failure of a married couple to communicate to themselves appropriately. Breach of communication is an aberration of the contract of marriage. Breach of communication between the married partners can present grave consequences if it is not stopped immediately.
Breach or break in communication can rob a relationship of vital welfare. Once one of the couple ceases to talk or inform the other partner in the relationship, friendliness disappears, loss or death can be the result.
