Nowadays, countries are into organic foods , meaning fruits and vegetables organically grown or grown without the aid of pesticides and chemicals. They only use natural fertilizers like animal manures and the like.
We now even have organic eggs . These are from poultries, not fed with chemically made boosters or vitamins. They are animals that are just fed with natural grasses or grown in a farm where they can just eat those grass and leafy vegetables.
Thus, I would like to share those fruits and vegetables that are highest and lowest in pesticides;
Highest in pesticides are apples, cherries, hot peppers, celery, bell peppers, imported grapes, cherries, nectarines, peaches, pears, raspberries, strawberries, potatoes and spinach.
Lowest in pesticides are asparagus , plums, watermelons, mangoes, papayas, pineapples, kiwi fruit, grapefruit, blueberries and bananas, broccoli and avocado.
But what if they those highest in pesticides are what are only ones available in the market? Can we not just wash them thoroughly or just submerge them in a basin of water for 30 minutes then after 30 minutes, throw the water and submerge them again in new water for 30 minutes and eat them?
It’s what we do too with cabbage when we buy them. We submerge them in a basinful of water for an hour. Then, put another basin of water and submerge them again for another 30 minutes. We do this always so we wash them 2 hours before eating or cooking them.
That way, we are sure that those pesticides are really washed off from them. Actually , I eat them all always. I just really thoroughly wash them before cooking as to vegetables and eating for the fruits.
I also have read on how to keep our feet blister free. Since moisture in our feet , like perspiration can make painful rubbing of our feet as we walk in addition to walking faster that may lead to blisters, 3 tips were mentioned ;
1. Rub your feet with rubbing alcohol since it is a drying agent and can help prevent sweating. We must make sure that our feet are completely dry (I wipe them with a dry towelette) before we put on socks and shoes.
2. Be sure that the shoes you wear are well fitted to your feet.
3. Have extra pair of socks in your bag so that when your socks get wet, you take them off, put some rubbing alcohol, let it dry and put on the dry socks.
In addition, you can put powder on your dry feet before you put on your socks, so your feet will not also smell awful.
How to fight fungus in toenails before they start:
1. You should wash your feet every day and let the area between your toes dry. I always have a clean toweled to wipe my feet and in-between toes spaces.
2. Have a well ventilated shoes and make sure they are well fitted to your feet. Avoid close fitting shoes and styles that can crush your toes like those pointed tipped shoes.
3. Purchase those socks sold in stores, that are made to draw moisture from your feet. Cotton socks are said to be not good in keeping the feet dry though, so opt for the one I mentioned before this.
4. Use anti-perspirant if you have sweaty feet. Actually, there are powders that help keep the feet dry and smelling good we call foot powder. It’s what my hubby uses.
5. Short and straight across is the best cut for our toenails.
There, I hope what I all shared will be helpful to all of you.

Thanks for the nice tips. I also do that, but I add baking soda in the water for soaking tomatoes, and other leafy vegetables. Organic foods are the most-sought food items now.
@acelawrites
Oh baking soda. So that could be added to the water where we soak those veggies. Of course, we have tp wash it well after soaking it because the baking soda tastes awful, am I right?
I keep trying to remember before, there is a certain paste or liquid advertized by Dina Bonnevie on tv i think, where you wash you fruits and veggies with it to make sure it's so clean of those pesticides and fertilizers. Have you seen that or maybe you are still to young so you can't remember it yet.
