Afghanistan Beaten by Zimbabwe in 4th ODI of series,2016

Afghanistan was scheduled to play a 5 Match ONE DAY International Series in Zimbabwe in 2016. Both teams have great players and all rounder’s and match winners and it would be interesting to see them battle in this series. The 4th ONE DAY international match was to be played on Harare Sports Club, Harare, Zimbabwe on 24^th Feb 2016.

Afghanistan batted poorly and was able to post total of only 110 runs in 38.5 over’s at the loss of 10 wickets and with top scores of Asghar S who made 19 runs in 17 balls with 2 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 112 runs in 100 balls and M Nabi who made 17 runs in 31 balls with 1 4’s and 0 six at the strike rate of 55 runs in 100 balls.

Zimbabwe was needed to score 111 runs in 50 over’s to win this match and to take level in this 5 ONE DAY match International series 2-2.

Zimbabwe batted very well  and was able to chase the score of 111 runs in 22.2 over’s at the loss of only 3 wickets and top scores by  S Mire who made 46 runs in 50 balls with 5 4’s and 2 six at the strike rate of 92 runs in 100 balls.

Zimbabwe won the match by 7 wickets and levels in this 5 match ODI series 2-2 with 1 more games still to play.
