Bangladesh beat Ireland in 1st and only T 20 in Bilateral Series

Ireland was scheduled to play a T 20Match in Bangladesh. This series will be great as both teams are playing good cricket and its difficult to beat Bangladesh in their home conditions Still Ireland holds the edge over Bangladesh.

The 1^st and only T 20Match International Match was scheduled to play on Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka, Bangladesh on 26^th March.

Bangladesh won the toss and opts to bat first and this means Ireland will bowl first.

Bangladesh batted very well and was able to make 150 runs in 20 over’s at the loss of 5 wickets and was top scored by T iqbal who made 50 runs in 40 balls with 5 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 125 runs in 100 balls and S Nafees made 30 runs in 30 balls with 2 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 100 runs in 100 balls.

Ireland was needed to score 151 runs to win this 1^st and only T 20Match Match international match.

Ireland again batted poorly and was bowled out for only 98 runs in 15.1 over’s and was top scored by their wicket keeper batsman N O Brien who made 20 runs in 40 balls with 2 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 50 runs in 100 balls.

Bangladesh won the match by 52 runs and T Iqbal was the Man of the Match for his great batting.

Bangladesh won the series 1-0.
