New Zealand beat England in 2nd T 20 Match of Bilateral Series

England was scheduled to play a 3 Match T 20 International matches series in New Zealand. Both teams are playing very good cricket till time and it will be very interesting to see both battle it out in this series. But England hold the upper hand as per its past performance but you can never know with cricket and T 20 matches. England already won the series 2-0 and this game is like dead rubber but still both teams will try to win this match as well.

The 2^nd Match of the series was to be played on Lords, London, England. England won the toss and opts to bat first, so this means New Zealand will bowl first.

England batted poorly and was able to score 120 runs in allotted 20 over’s at the loss of only 9 wickets and with contributions of Skipper Paul C who made 30 runs in 30 balls with 2 4’s and 2 sixes at the strike rate of 100 runs in 100 balls faced and I Bell made 30 runs in 40 balls with 2 four’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 75 runs in 100 balls faced.

New Zealand was needed to score only 121 runs in allotted 20 over’s to win this 2nd  T 20 match and to level the series 1-1 as England already won the 1^st T 20 match.

New Zealand batted very well and was able to make 121 runs in 15 over’s at the loss of only 2 wickets and with the contribution of B Mccullum who made 70 runs in 30 balls with 6 4’s and 5 sixes at the strike rate of 233 runs in 100 balls.

New Zealand won the match by 8 wickets in hand and B Mccullum was the Man of the match for his fine batting.
